Orion IV is the fourth planet in the Orion system, the homeworld of the Delyn species and a Terran Federation colony.
History[]
Orion IV was settled during the waves of expansion following the colonizations of Tellus and Vesta.
The colonists negotiated land with the native Delyn and settled on an uninhabited continent in the west. Over time, the Delyn integrated themselves into the culture of the Terran Federation.

Orion IV is known for having a diverse ecosystem.
One creature is known as a Yogtree, a form of tree worm which the colonists and natives of the Orion system eat by frying them and seasoning them. The tree worms are often preyed upon in the wild by Orion Root Simians, which were domesticated by some natives and colonists.
